Loren Collaboration: Elevating The Vale with Art
It all begins with an idea.
At Tokoph Design, we strive to create unique, beautifully staged homes by collaborating with exceptional artists like Loren Yagoda, a talented Master Painter for Restoration Hardware. At her Art + Co. gallery, Stacey and I selected artwork for our latest staging at The Vale, a modern condo designed by architect Will Bruder. We chose pieces to enhance each room of the property’s dramatic, architectural beauty. For The Vale’s living room, with its soaring ceilings and unique windows, we needed art that was bold yet complementary. We chose two striking black-and-white pieces from Loren’s architectonic series, echoing Bruder’s aesthetic, and a green-gray painting with linear brushstrokes reminiscent of the condo’s exterior agave and stone landscaping.
Loren shared her inspiring journey with us. Initially dreaming of becoming an architect she was discouraged by her mother, who believed women couldn’t pursue that path. Disappointed that her mother didn’t support her dream, but still desiring to be within the design world she became an interior designer. Crafting minimalist modern spaces with organic textures, bold lines and monochromatic color—a style that now defines her evocative paintings.
Somewhere along her journey she discovered the profound significance of her paintings when a close architect friend shared with her something that has stayed with her since and embodies all of her work. “Your Art is the Spirit of the home”. This has become her guiding mantra reflecting her expansive & diverse style in her painting.
Collaborating with Loren & her daughter Jobie was a joy. Their intuitive sense of the loft spaces guided our selections, and helped tell the story we were hoping for. We’re thrilled to partner with them at Tokoph Design. You can discover Loren’s work in the upcoming Phoenix Home & Garden magazine, on her website Lorenyagoda.com, at Art-Expo Scottsdale, or make an appointment at her Art & Company gallery in North Scottsdale.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
